Darnoc should correct the comment not all companies are delaying salaries but you can say majority. This will give bad impression to Qatar market. There are lots of private companies are paying on time, but not Contracting companies.

Come on guys, let's just tell them the truth. NOBODY IN QATAR PAYS SALARY ON TIME. If you have a baby then better stock up on milk, baby food and lot's of money. Health care is very good though..

My 1 cent. PEACE!

Well said Biju.

Living cost is a variable which depends upon many factors. Without knowing them, the answers we can give will be just a guess work. And your guess surely is as good as mine.

I like Biju Abraham's Answer. Good lesson for all. All expense depends on your life style. Can be from QR. 4500..

One person was waiting in a bus station, one man came and asked him, how long it will take to reach railway station if I walk?, the man did not reply anything. he asked again the same question still the person ignore him and did not answer, again by louder and angrily asked him, hey man, I am asking you how long it will take to reach railway station by walk are you duff?. still he did not reply anything and the strainger walked away with anger, Suddenly he call him back and informed him it will take only 10 minutes to reach the railway station. He asked then why dont you tell me this when I asked first time?!!

The man replied: How can I say before I see how fast you are walking, if you walk in this speed only 10 minutes, little more speed 7 minutes, if you run 5 minutes only!!!

Moral of this joke: living cost is depends on your living style and how you are able to spend.??hope you understand.

If you have accomodation and car, minimum QR 2500/- you have to spend for an average life here.

If you want accomodation also, it will start from QR 2000/- depends on your taste
