Visit from Saudi to Qatar

I am planning to visit Qatar this Eid holidays. I wish to know what are all the documents we may require to get the visa stamped at the border on arrival, my plans are to drive in private car with my family to Doha (From Jubail, Saudi Arabia).

The profession marked in my Iqama (residence permit) is Project Engineer, I hope a copy of the Iqama will be enough to get the visa at the border.

Any expert advice please.

Thanks Manoj, what will be the visa cost per person? When you went was there any fuel stations & good drive in places on the route in Saudi? I heard most of the route in Saudi is two way road.

I think a credit card is mandatory. Because I came along with a friend of mine and I remember my debit card wasnt accepted where as I had to pay with my friend's credit card. But I do not remember this exactly as to what was the situation. You can cross check with some one else also.

Thank you Manoj,

I need one more clarification, is it essential to carry a credit card? Can I make the electronic payment using my debit card?

Just come down. We had travelled last year when I used to stay in Saudi. You need to have the Iqama with the exit / re-entry visa. Have a credit card to make the payment at the border. Carry your passport of course (with sufficient pages available and validity) and have all the papers cleared for the car like the istimara, insurance etc. I dont remember the exact amount I paid at the border for the visa issuance and the insurance. That I think you can check in the govt websites. Ensure that if your car is rented / company provided you need to have the necessary NOC issued by the original owner and I guess you need to have that attested at the muroor. I cant confirm that since we had come in our own car.
