TAXI without METER
did you have an experience that a karwa taxi driver will not put meter and ask for more than your usual fare? Did the Mowasalat management knows that some of their drivers are making money out of their companys knowledge? or Does anyone can post a contact number of Mowasalat complain dept?
if the karwa taxi is not putting the meter. do not pay him. it is a rule in karwa taxis that if the driver forgets to put the meter then he does not get his fare. complain to 4588888 but do not at any cost pay the fare.
shaair..its an old issue for you but since its an old did you got any answer for this issue...or maybe you dont ride in a taxi or maybe you just walk like you did in your...gosh...peace on you...better answer for the readers and taxi riders...peace
As far as I know,there r 2 kinds of contracts for Taxi drivers
1.They will follow the instructions from the call centre and on meter
2.Karwa gives Taxi to its drivers for 12 hours and they have to pay a minimum of 200 or 220 QR/12 hrs.These people always go without meter.In otherwords,Karwa giving them cars for rent.Their target is to get to their daily minimum payment,else they have to pay out of pocket
come on guys you got better pay than them! Spare them! I think they are paid 1,200 QAR/Month that is inclusive Risk, Accommodation and everything...
ya even me i found this problem.the driver use to question before he starts the meter.whethr meter or without meter.....if its without meter means the money goes into thre pocket.even the bus drivers colect the tickets from the customers when they get down from the bus and they issue it to another person i have noticed this for as long time...
This is old news since karwa started in Qatar.
