A safe and secure location for a couple

Hi. We're looking for a house in a good location. Since we're a couple, we'd prefer a compound that's safe, possibly quiet and secure. Is Abu Hamour a good bet? What about the nearby industrial area? Is that a factory area? Will it affect the security, peace and quiet?

Tried asking for Al Jazi but apparently it's not easy to get.

I asked about Abu Hamour because there is this really nice 3-bedroom single-storey house with zen decor that is almost perfect. We're eco conscious as well, and the house has 2 decent-size plots suitable for gardening! :)

Al Aziziyah and Markhiya seem to have a very nice park nearby but they do not have good homes at the moment. Not the ones provided by our agents.

You kind thoughts are greatly appreciated.

regards
Narl & Rina

hey, thanks guys. i'll check out some of the places suggested. although in abu hamour, the drive to the corniche will be a bit of a distance.

a. budget: qar15-16k

b. contract: indefinite

c. facilities: fully furnished. with gym, pool, etc in the compound. nearby a daycare would be nice for our future family. :)

Q1: What is your budget?

Q2: How long is the contract?

Q3: What are the facilities you are looking for?

Check out the area behind the churches. Heard the Villas are reasonably priced in that location.

Al Sadd and Al Nasser are relatively safe as well.

DO NOT move anywhere near Industrial Area. Almost 100% males who have been years away from their families or a woman, and NOT safe for a woman or a child.
