rabies vaccine? HIV test?
Hi, I'm preparing to move to Doha. On my governments homepage (somewhat outdated) it says that I need to bring a negative HIV test, as well as proof of Rabies vaccine. Now, I've read some different things, I know that I have to do a HIV test when I enter Qatar etc. Could someone please point me to a recent recent, official page/document of what's needed? I'm going to my local doctor in a few days, so answers would be highly appreciated.
thanks

Ok my son? lool!
Hi dad!
I have two knowledgeable personalities(Kelly/Nadt) that are supporting me meantime with the cooking methods and its ingredients. lol!
So true! And the company I worked before was doing it for 5yrs now. We called it Pre-employment medical, it was my job to screen the applicant medical reports from their country of origin for the absence of those illnesses. That is mainly done to avoid lost of expenses for the company. Now, most companies are doing the same thing especially if they're dealing with Manpower agencies. Coz any applicant found out to be + w/ any of the above mentioned illness, is subject for replacement by the agencies. It does make sense, right?:)
Dear FE lady...never trust a vampire! :)
I think I can cope with sheep- it's the camels, monkeys and wolves that are truly worrying;)
I'm not scared! (very).
And stallion again! wooohooo
*I can see from here how someone out there is boiling!** hahaha peace!
She's such a sweet gal to scare.

But......beware from Dracula and Darude :P

Coool.. thanks Apple- I can sleep easy now- safe in the knowledge that I'm not going to spend my life avoiding having great bit chunks of flesh chomped off me!;)

dont worry sweet, we are not cannibals :D
just come over, i'll invite you for a coffee:)))
I'm also moving to Qatar soon and was advised by my GP that I had to have a rabies jab for travel there.
I recently checked with other teachers at the school and with the principal and they told me that it was completely unnecessary. I hope this helps.
I haven't heard that Rabbies vaccine is a must to enter Qatar? But what I know, the moment you enter the state, it is mandatory for you to undergo medical exam. Blood test for HIV and HepaB & C, and Chest X-ray for Pulmonary Tuberculosis as a requirement to obtain Residence Permit.
