Professional Movers
intend to move to a new location within Doha.The only problem is I have a lot of personal stuff thats got to be moved and would definitely need to be moved with a truck or somethin like that. Was wondering if there exists any professional moving company whom I could approach and get a quote.Tried googling..but nothing out there..Thanks in advance.

Professional movers do charge much more than the local pick up truck!
It all depends on how much you want to invest of your own time and effort in the physical transfer from one place to another! If you do, you will realize how much work is involved. There are many people that ended up with bad backs, injuring toes etc. which resulted in sick days, which resulted in lost performance, etc. etc.

when i moved within doha i used Runway movers sorry i dont have the number with me as i lost the number when my mobile took a swim at inland sea. you can get a quote fr them also try getting a quote fr IFS movers. good luck

Yes there are professional movers, but they will come with a price. Do you have a lot? Does it need to be packed, wrapped? If yes, then go for the professionals. If you have packed everything and it is just a matter of volume I recommend you just hire a truck with some labourers from souq Najma. There are many people there with trucks.Negotiate price per hours or per ride ahead of time. Then if they have done a good job give them something extra. They re usually pretty cheap!. However they are usually not very careful and you will need to supervise
