Perhaps not Polish salami (which I have enjoyed in the past) but the Qatar ecomony can supply you with all the necessary food and more to enable your survival.
One thing that you should know about is that Ramadan will start here (probably) on 13th September 2007 and during the day all restaurants are closed. Also, in view that many of your co-workers may be fasting it is respectful (advisable) not to drink or eat food in front of them. Also do not eat, drink or smoke on the street during those days.
When you arrive in Doha you will learn the lifestyle yourself - life quality is not made by what the world has to offer - your life quality is made by you in the way you choose to live you life.

u get everything u need or cud possibly need..maybe some of ur regular food tirems r not available her but majority of the things are...
there are actually lots of things to do in and arnd doha and having a regular set of frnds ensures u having a good time..
there are definitley drawbacks to living hree but on the whole its an amazing experience....
