Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me what its like to live without a car in Doha? Is it almost impossible like it is in Dubai? I don't have a driving licence
I am considering moving to Doha. Is there any public transport? If yes then is it any good?
Is it possible to get a driver? How much would it cost?

Hey pal , if you are comming to doha get a international driving license and come , if not its difficult to get it here ! you have to have your own vehicle !!

There is public transport Bus named Karwa,,it is good, u can take ticket for one month period and can travel anywhere..U can get car with driver but it cost around 4,500+ if you have valid other country licence you can join with any of the driving licence after your eye test, it can be done within 30 days maximum. If you want the trainer same nationality (only for communication problem personnel), you may have to wait until he free other trainee.)

How long will it take me to get my driving licence in Qatar if I am working full time? Are they flexible with timings? In Dubai they have made it close to impossible to get your licence in a short space of time. Is it as bad in Doha?
