I need to send a washing machine to india. What is the best possible way, or any cargo services.Any idea bout costs involved etc.

Just to remind you...brand new appliance will attract excise at the customs/port in India! They will ask for the original Invoices!

Suggest you buy the item in India as you get a service backup fr om the manufacturers. Secondly, if you insist on sending one from here it is advisable to send a brand new one rather then a used one. Furthermore, you can stuff the machine with items such as clothes which will not damage the machine while it is transit. These items will go at no extra cost as the freight charges of the washing machine will be calculated on the volume and not the weight.

Firstly, it is better to sell of your washing machine in Najma Market! You will get some money out of it! Else the cost of the machine will come out to be lesser than the cargo fare to India! Besides......good fully automatic washing machines in India start @ INR 13000.

If you still insist....contact TOKYO FREIGHT SERVICES! They are the best! You can google for their contact details :)
