hello.. i was wondering if anyone can help me.. my hubby is looking into working in qatar as a doctor.. i was browsing and ran across this page. can anyone tell me as an expat how is it living there? what's the education system like and do we have to pay for the children's education? are the people friendly? do they speak english or do we need to know fluent arabic in order to work there? any doctors out there.. what's the basic salary for a registrar?

No need to know Arabic... Most of the people speak English... at least in work places.. most of the Govt/semi govt and international companies pay school fee for kids.
