Before I move
I might be getting an offer to work in Qatar, they will be providing accomodation. I am coming from Canada. Can you please let me know which compounds are good around Doha, I just want to know what to ask for
Also, my wife is a dentist, what would be the best way to find a job for her there

I dont know names of compounds yet. But because I have children, it would be better to get near Qatar Academy. Do you recommend any compounds near the school

The vast majority of Canadians in Doha work for the College of the North Atlantic. They have several different compounds and apartment complexes that are entirely CNA-Q run. They are all nice (However if that is who you will be working for than ask for the NEW compounds). Otherwise, if you could tell me the name of your compound than I could tell you how nice it is.
It's difficult to recommend a compound as there are literally dozens all over the place now. Perhaps dohagirl, a Canadian herself, can give you tips about where your compatriots stay.
Try to have your future employer give you a few choices and then post them here and that way you can get feedback.
As for your wife it's best to check with the various clinics in Doha.
