Hi all,
My husband got his work permit and will be in Qatar early June...how long would it take for him to get his residence permit and how long would take after to sponsor us (me and a child)...is there a way to do it once or does it has to be step by step... we still can come on tourist visa, but wondering what is the best way to join him as soon as possible.. thanks and please advise if you can ..thks

Well, best way is to accompany your husband to Doha either on Tourist Visa (unextendable for 1 month) or on Business Visa (extendable upto 3 months). So once your husband gets his Residential Permit in Doha (it will take approximately 1 to 2 months period), he can able to sponsor spouse and children.

depends on this company Mandoop (PRO), if he is good it can be done in a week if he is lazy it can goes up to months (unfortunately none of the Mandoops are doing their jobs on time they are behaving like they are beyond CEO), once your RP is done then only he can apply for family visa normally 3 months bank statement required but this may exclude for new visa holders. Good luck to done everything fast.
