Does world space radio catch Indian channels
By anand_makkar75 •
Hi Everybody
I need to know just like Tata sky (for T.V), Does World space radio set bought in India will work and catch Indian channels transmitted by the satellite.
Do we need a special antenna or does the antenna bought in India will serve the purpose.
Thanks in advance.
Anand
Still looking for any clues.

Thanks for the reply but I would like to hear from somebody who has first hand experience in using the same. Reason why I am insisting is that I am doubtful about antenna part. I was told that for T.V -people are required to install much bigger dish in Qatar then used in India.
I am trying to figure out whether same logic applies to worldspace radio as well or not?
Therefore If anybody is using worldspace radio for receiving Indian channels can give his feedback, that will really be useful for me and my friends.

anand_makkar75 ...if you can buy the WS radio ...you can easily get the channels anywhere...even on the move....
In fact one can get good quality satellite radio on one's Satellite Dish Receiver used to watch TV....but that one is not much portable...with the dish...lol
Look what I found:

No I am planning to bring it from India.
I would appreciate if somebody who is using worldspace radio for Indian channels give his feedback on sound reception and requirements to set up (e.g Antenna etc.)

Is World Space Radio available in Qatar....
I would really like a Satellite Radio for my car....
Last week I inquired at Lulu Garaffa....the guy had really hard time imagining "a satellite radio".
Thanks but I would appreciate if somebody who is using worldspace radio for Indian channels give his feedback on sound reception and requirements to set up (e.g Antenna etc.)

I think that it will work because an antenna catches global signals no matter where it is.
