What type of clothes do I need in Qatar?

It seems my previous question wasn't posted for some reasons so here it goes again. I am coming in Quatar for work this autumn/winter and wonder if anyone can tell me what type of clothes to bring along? Shall I bring my vowen work suits, skirts, stilletoes and jackets or would it be mostly t-shirts, camisole tops, flipflops, etc.?

Many thanks!

Oh and will my UK hairdrier work in Quatar given the difference in voltage?

Autumn is very pleasant here so you can do away with T shirt and light clothes, however during a few weeks towards the end and start of the new year the temperature at night does drop, so a wooly or a pull over is always hand. But during the day the sun is nice and warm..

Thanks NB. I've heard about customs and etiquettes however my main concern is weather and temperatures. I am asking this because it says on Qatar turist site that winter temperatures are normally 34oC during day and 10oC over night but having read on here that peeps last winter raided shops for heathers I am really confused!:(

I am not sure but I think I will have to have my own clothes in the begining. So still don't know whether to bring my winter or summer gear? :(

there are actually 2 weather that exist here...one too hot (summer)..and the other too cold (winter).. so basically, you can bring anykind of clothes for this 2 weather, take note also that most of the time here you will be inside an Air conditioned premise.. :)

U can wear and bring any kind of dress,,which u feel better to wear....

for hair dryer, as NB told you have to buy an adaptor for changing voltage if it is 110V....
