Can you please advise me on dish size, type of recievers, LNB, etc to watch Indian and other channels

Legally, only dish antenna that have a diameter of up to 120cm are allowed in Qatar. Owning antenna that are higher than this size is a breach of Qatar's telecom laws and can attract stiff penalties.

Tata Sky is a good option for Indian channels, considering the low cost. However, Tata Sky requires dish antenna that are larger than the 120cm diameter size permitted in Qatar.

The best option to legally watch Indian channels in Qatar is to go for a Pehla subscription. They offer a variety of packages suited to meet individual requirements. These packages are fairly reasonably priced and various payment options are available. You can get more details about these packages or subscribe at http://www.starselect.com which is the official website for these packages.

Any Direct-To-Home (DTH) satellite equipment dealer will install the equipment for you. Usually, a dish antenna of 120cm diameter costs about QR 100. The Low Noise Block (LNB) costs QR 40 for the best type. Installation is usually between QR 150 and QR 200 depending upon the length of coaxial cable required from the roof of your house to your room. And, a satellite reciever costs about QR 500, though cheaper brands are also available.

you can go for panamasat. indosat and bla bla bla. You will struggle to find a good array of channels.

Best advice is. Get yourself a tata reciever. You will be paying Annually or Bi-Annually.

Its worth every penny
