Is there any alternative to OOREDOO Mozaic?
I have taken a new flat which already got an installation, unfortunately the 1st owner(for 2months) took the Ooredoo box and the telephone, so I applied for new installation in Lulu.
As i explained my case to Ooredoo Lulu they said to call 115 after 2 days, so I called, then 115 said why did you call such 2 days only? call after 5 days. then again i call, and everyday till 17 days still nothing is happening. What's frustrating is. there is not even a schedule!!!! and you need to call 115 and 181 and again and so fort.
And Thank you for choosing Ooredoo Mozaic???? Come on. I hope there are other alternatives i can get, the waiting and the INACTION is really frustrating.
Had the same issue. Just got OSN Installed. They will charge approx 110 riyal for installation in which they will provide Receiver Box and Dish + Installation. Monthly charges are based on package you choose. I selected Pehla Prime for which I am paying 137 riyal per month. If you opt for yearly subscription you dont have to pay for Installation charges which are 110 riyal and also you get one month free, so you can save approx 250 riyal.

In city center, star link opp. to Careefour are having OSN dealership, but they were not able to give full info. I called service center (44283888) of Star Link, they were helpful. Installation was done very next day. Very much satisfied with their service.
U mean having an internet connection and an access to TV is not a "real" life? Dude ur commenting means ur using it now. Hehe.

Is it lucky? Then we should not connect to the Ooredoo service at all. U use ur mobile for internet and watching channels d u'll find urself paying more and be in trouble. We need some recreations, and 1 is to watch TV channels and use the internet. Go watch cinema and it's more costlier. Come on. And yes, I still have no schedule. Hehe.
Just think of all the money you are saving by not being able to connect to the service. You should consider yourself lucky.

I have come to understand that its ramadan, taken, but I would accept if they told me to wait till after Eid. Then I can do something about it, but to keep you waiting for nothing is different. Its also not good to promise. It would be better to keep it simple, and say sorry installation is after eid, we apologize for the inconvenience. finish.
here is the lodge complain# 615982 which the costumer service told me to get an update in 48 hours. ( x 3 + ___). hehehe

Be patient, it is Ramadan, -- Yesterday I was at a Govt office at 8:45 am to get some office work done, the guy comes in past 9:15 and is angry with everyone and says something in arabic, the only word I understood was "Ramadan" so please be_understanding / have_empathy. All the best. Just buy a decoder from Lulu and have your corner shop guy install it, should be all within Qr. 600.00, free to air chanels and enjoy.
They must be busy, you know it is Ramadan and also eid is coming, most workers have already taken their leave in conjunction with their leave plans and holidays. Be patient during these times, I have also come to accept the fact things don't run efficiently as I wish them to be here in Qatar. Also, don't have huge expectations on customer service with big names here, even the 5 star hotels, cause you won't find it. Put your expectations down, but don't let it get to you. My advice just follow up every other day.

Get Satellite free to air on your TV, but the only place to get internet is Ooredoo, its sort of monopoly. Also, go to another Ooredoo branch, I don't know why they directed you to call their hotline, they can't do service installations, all new services are done in the branch, where you need to fill out a form and they will copy your RP and so on and register your details into their system. After you submitted your application, it takes 3 to 5 working days for the technical guys to install the Mosaic system. (I think the Ooredoo Lulu gave you wrong info or did not understand what you wanted).
