I have been told by one of my friend that If i need to apply for a visit for wife, i need to submit the bank statement. This is a new rule & it was implemented from last week. Is this true? Please advice me...........
You don't need any influence or vatsa as everything works through online or electronic system. If someone says, he/she can do so, then they are simply trying to make money from you or they simple going to follow the steps required as per the LAW.
Go through QL forum, you will find lots of threads discussing on this topic. Visit the Immigration office or speak to your Mandop to know the steps required to apply to get your wife. The simple rule behind all the policies and procedures, is to make sure you don't suffer after bringing your wife or family to QATAR while you can't afford doing so. Trust me, its fairly simple procedure to apply for family visa, all you need is a little confidence and a little bit of time/effort to follow-up.
Wishing you all the very best, hope you get united with your family as early as possible.
Check Below,I got it from Hukoomi Website and hope this helps
Application Process
Follow these steps to apply for a Family Visit Visa:
Print and fill out form.
Attach to the application a copy of the resident’s ID or passport, along with a copy of the applicant's passport.
Attach a letter from the resident’s employer outlining his/her position and salary.
Supply authenticated proof of relation between the resident and the applicant, such as marriage or birth certificates.
Attach a copy of the resident's rental lease document as proof of where the applicant will stay during the family visit. The rental lease should clearly state the name of the resident as tenant. If the lease only states the name of the resident's spouse, then the resident should supply an authenticated marriage certificate as proof of residence address.
Submit the application to the Ministry of Interior’s main immigration office, located just west of D-Ring Road on Al Luqta Street (road to Qatar Foundation).
Pay appropriate fees.
Additional Information
A fee of QR200 applies for each visa, and QR50 for each registered dependent or companion. The visa is valid for one month and can be extended for QR200 per month (QR50 per month for the companion). Additional documents may be required for the visa application.
