Hello all,

QNB is advertising a new Car Lease scheme which they claim to be cheaper than buying a car etc

The website doesn't actually show any example with a cost breakdown, type of car and montly payment etc.

Has anyone used their scheme? Have you seen any cost examples or deals for a particular car model etc?

All usefuel ideas/comments welcome

I also looked into it.The most popular make would be GMC, but decided against it. All is included, insurance, maintenance etc. An example would be GMC Terrain - roughly 3400 per month, and option for paying 70,000 at the end of the lease or trading in and getting another car. For that reason the interest rate is around 6%. The restriction is that you are limited to a total of 60,000 km for the duration of the lease (3 years). Anything over, you need to pay additional. I opted for getting a person loan for 3.99%. Seems the better option to me.
