Qatar to Dubai by road, information required on visa

Hi,

Need to know one information, if anyone having experience please share.

I am travelling to Dubai, by road from qatar with family, brother and parents-in-law.

I have the UAE electronic visa (normal printed visa) with me for everyone

I have the Saudi transit also with me for everyone.

The car is in my name.

But read somewhere that by road travel to Dubai, requires original VISA and not e Visa,

If anyone has any previous experience, please share

I am eligible for the on arrival visa, but my parents-in-laws are not. That is why I thought getting a visa earlier.

You will get visa on arrival if you have an electronic visa.

I traveled by road with family, but the visa for UAE got at border.Why dont you try visa on arrival at check post?I dont know you can get visa on arrival if you have an electronic visa.
