My family left Doha since 9 months ago and I plan to bring them back to Doha by this week, due to I am busy (offshore) is it possible/ allowed my friend pay the overstay fine? Or may I know if there is chance to pay the fine in airport immigration?
my friend you have to pay first then only they can come to Qatar with in 14 days from the date of payment. your family can not arrive and pay at airport since this is not ON ARRIVAL VISA category,
i think you area asking about your family stay more than 6 month out of Qatar under Permanent visa(RP) category, if i am right, you can pay the fine at Airport Immigration department (regarding the payment by your friend, i dont know), it is called "Return visa" you have to pay Qr.500/- per person, and their RP must be valid. and the validity of the RETURN VISA is 14 days only, candidate must enter qatar with in 14 days from the date of issue of RETURN VISA.
