MOBILE LOST!!!! PLZ SUGGEST MEASURES!!!
Am in a serious problem. After returning home in Caravan (taxi) today afternoon, I later realised that my mom's Nokia N73 was missing. It was nowhere in the house, and as we had made a call from the taxi, it HAS to be there itself. So I called Carvan number 4588888, and told my story. To all 4 calls of mine, I was told that the driver's mobile is off. Now, even MY number is out of reach. Just now, I again called there, and they have asked me to call again tomorrow morning. But I have very little hopes now. What should I do....???
Very simple, go directly to QTEL and inform them that you lost your mobile and to block your SIM Card Number to avoid him to use it. This will make you free of any liability/consequences in the future.
You cannot blame the driver! it could be another customer of the Taxi that took it. Please go down to the karwa park near the industrial zone it's always better to speak to people in person not by phone in Qatar.

Go to the karwa car park near the industrial area (Any taxi will take you there) there is a lost and found section. describe the phone to them and what time this has happened. They should have it. most of the taxi drivers are honest people and they will leave it there.
1)IF U HAVE THE EMI NUMBER I THINK NOKIA CAN MAKE THE PHONE UNUSABLE. YOU MUST PROVIDE BILL.
2)IF UR SIM IS IN THE CELL THE POLICE CAN TRACE THE LOCATION.
3) IF U KNOW THE KARWA TAXI NUMBER, YOU CAN FIND YOUR CELL BACK, IF YOU WERE SITTING IN THE FRONT SEAT. IF YOU WERE SITTING AT THE BACK, EVEN IF THE DRIVER HAS TAKEN IT HE CAN CLAIM OTHER PASSENGER MUST HAVE TAKEN IT.

In future
To check your mobile phone's serial number, key
in the following digits on your phone!: * # 0 6 #,
a 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This
number is unique to your handset. Write it down
and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone
get stolen, you can phone your service provider
and give them this code. They will then be able
to block your handset so even if the thief
changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally
useless.
