I am going to Doha for an interview. The company has arranged the hotel(Ramada) for me. I need to sort out the food for at least 2 days. where can I go for delicious and affordable food and how much money do I need to bring, GBP or USD?

Thanks a lot!

As mentioned by toyota you can find a string of good restaurants opposit to Ramada which are not very expensive. Even if you are planning to take food (BF, Lunch & Dinner) from the Restaurants of Ramada it will not cost you more than Qr. 750/- (approx. USD 205) for two days.

The Ramada has some nice restaurants, you can eat well there for two days on a few hundred USD. You can also exchange either USD or GBP to Qatari Riyal at the hotel. You should also be able to pull money out of your home country if you have an ATM card, but there would be fees.

You just have to cross the road in front of Ramada, and you have a whole string of restaurants , none of which are expensive. 1 USD is 3.65 QR. Food is not very expensive here, I think 500 USD, which is 1800 QR should be more than enough for food(which I dont think will cost more than 500 QR for 2 days, many people live on 500 QR a month) and also any shopping you might do.
