decent house will cost you something between 5000 - 8000 and let's say

6500 Q.R for your house, you need somewhere to stay ...

1500 Q.R for your car installment, you need a car to move around and even if you will rent one then it might go up to 2000 Q.R

300 - 500 Q.R for the car gas, you will need to fill it up from time to time and it would depends on how would you use your car.

400 - 1000 Q.R for your Telephone bills, Mobile bills, Internet Bills, International Bills, Electricity & Water Bills.

1000 - 1500 Q.R for your monthly grocery, everything is high and getting higher.

The rest would depend on your life style, you like going out to watch movies, having coffee, eating in the restaurants and so on ...

The total of what we've calculated up there would be something between 10,000 to 12,000 Q.R ...

So you have 8000 - 1000 Q.R depending now on how active would you be in going out and buying more stuff. Don't forget that you are starting new here, there are lots of other things that you have to take care of like your driving license, your insurance for the different services you would get ...

Best Regards ...

intrigue you can save money. as you said you are married. will your wife work here? if yes than you can save good. you can have a accom in the part of villa b'coz flats are very expensive. house would be 4000 to 5000. and then it depends on how you spend but as much as i think, you can save atleast 7 to 8 (if your wife will also work). i m saying this in the condition where you don't have to really party every weekend or not goign to expensive rests... after all every thing depends on the life style you want to live. people with 3000salary also save and send money to india. anyways all the best!!!!!!!!

~Since you are alone, you could rent a room in a villa for 3-4K

with a luxury life style, you could save anywhere b/w 5K and 10K

What are you gonna do, take a mean of all answers :P

Sorry for not being clear. This is an all in pay the company would not provide anything other than insurance on life and health above this.

There are no mortgages to pay back home and consider a care hire/Loan which ever is economical..(what is the cost of a car hire?). What can be overall cost of living? Lets assume housing at 7,500/- ...also let me know in case this is a wrong assumption.

Thanks a lot for all your feedbacks...very helpful

Either the post was edited or most people missed the last line. If the company does not provide accomidations you will spend a large chunk of that salary just in housing. Not knowing anything about you that could range from a bedspace (500QR+) to a villa (16000QR+). A "decent" flat/apartment can normally be found around 7500QR, which will cut into your amount you can save.

And where you going to stay? That would be depend what type of accommodation you are paying, transport (car loan or car hire monthly fees, do you have any mortgage to pay back home?, your living life style.

It is like asking how long is a piece of string?
