can you tell me what to do? almost 3 consecutive nights, different people calling me late at night, asking if im giving escort. Telling me that someone gave my number to them. I asked Q-tel and told me they cannot do anything about it. It's way below the belt question. Is this what everyone think about us, filipina? To think that the last caller was a filipino. The thing here is, i dont have much friend to give my number because i live with my father and prefer a quiet life alone. Then suddenly people will bother me with such stupid questions. Can someone give me advice regarding this?

U have 2 solutions.....
1) Dont bother answering
2)Change yr number...
did you try to ask them who gave them your phone number? you can do it in a way, that they cannot refuse giving you the name of that person. For example, you can say: "yes, i do provide such service, but first i have to know who exactly did you get my number from, because this person should get his 10% of our deal. give me his name, and i will tell you my price and other conditions and set up the time for you".
The best thing is to change the telephone number. the matter is as simple as that. Good Luck!
Change your number. I may cost a little but save you from a lot of bother.
If it is a number you don't know, let your father answer the phone. A man's voice is usually enough to scare off any wierdo.
if any one call u just save his number > if he call u more than 3 time >>>> just go to police station and make report about the number and thay will do the rest >>>> belive me the police will reach to the first person who used to give ur mobile No. to people

and always when any one call u . ask him With whom u want to speak (if he tell ur Name It means he pick ur number from some one u know ) and then just go to police
if he dont tell yr name in this case save his number and if he call u again go to police.
Do not let temper take control of your mind. Be polite and say "Sorry you have got the wrong number". Trust me its the best solution. Dont be bothered by such calls.
IGNORING them is the best idea, for ur problem.
Tell such caller an emphatic NO. Ask them to do their own business rather than bothering you. Threaten them with police complaint if they every dare to call you during night.
If persist, file a complaint with Police.
