What is the easiest/cheapest way to get from Bahrain airport to the race track on the 26th? Any idea of costs?
Will there not be shuttles available?

NOTHING BEATS WALKING, IT'S FREEEEEEEE
there is free shuttle from airport to Bahrain GP and Hotel to Bahrain GP and vice versa. Refer to http://www.gulfair.com/about/Bahrain-Grandprix-Formula1-2009.asp
Take my advise.. what i did previously...
First DONT rely on a taxi. pre book a rental car before you leave DOHA, the rent is just 100 riyals (mid size to small size car, depends on the availability) per day. so book and take the rental car from the airport and drive down to the hotel then to GP. the road is simple and if you have a GPS its great if not study the google map before your departure. thats what i did, and found to be cheap and simple... you will pay 100 riyals just for a ride from the airport to the manamma city itself on a taxi one way, so beware...
