Avg. monthly cost
Just wanted to know an approx. avg. monthly cost of: water+electricity+internet for a 1 BHK single occupant. Doing my budgeting a the moment and deciding on whether I should take up the cost on my own shoulders of get it all inclusive in the rent. thanx for the details in advance:-)
Take the all inclusive rent. The landlord is usually more responsible to fix things when it break down. Otherwise, your at the mercy of the manager who expects you to feed them and tip them in order for them to work. Usually, the manager is a slum dog who thinks it is a luxury if you request for anything. Example: a leaking ceiling from a water tank or roof which causes your appliances to break...etc..etc...
Average water & electricity should be from about QR 150 per month in winter up to about QR 350 to 400 in summer. I had a 2br some time back and that was what my bills were.
Internet is QR 217 including landline or QR 250 for Mozaic bundle (1Mb line) or 317/350 for 2Mb line.
