Good working knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC and Plumbing Systems
Knowledge of installation and maintenance of Centrifugal Water-Cooled and Air-Cooled Chillers, Cooling Tower, Chilled Water Primary and Secondary pumps, Condenser pumps, Basin Filtration system, Centralized chilled water plant, Heat Exchanger, Fresh Air Handling Unit with Heat Pipe technology, Fan coil units, Ventilation systems (Car park ventilation, Toilet Ventilation, Kitchen exhaust), standalone units like CRAC units and DX Units.
• Knowledge of Installation and maintenance of Portable water supply systems consisting of Booster pump sets, Sump pumps, Transfer pump sets, Calorifiers, Heaters, Thermostatic mixtures etc.
Knowledge of Installation and maintenance of Fire Protection/Suppression systems consisting of Vertical Turbine Diesel Pumps, Electrical driven pumps and jockey pumps, FM-200 and Deluge systems and respective controllers.
Familiar with reading technical schematic drawings, O&M manuals, system design, and technical data.
* Practical knowledge and experience in the operation of Chilled water AHU/FAHU/PAHU/ FCU and DX type AHU/Window/Split/ Package unit & Ventilation fans.
* Technically sound in operation of Water/Air-cooled chiller, Chilled water pump, Cooling tower & other pumps used in utility services.
* Ability to write technical reports, the scope of work, observation reports, and paperwork as per the nature of the job.
* Ability to understand design codes and their specifications with the latest industry practices, ASHRAE/ NFPA Standard.
Strong supervisory & leadership skills with proficiency in time management.
*Able to perform an internal audit to ensure the in-house teams compliance with ISO standards.
* Conduct regular inspections on assets available at the campus, analyze existing equipment, determine the condition of existing equipment, and verify operating parameters for accuracy.
* Perform tests and troubleshoot for existing systems. Recommend changes to the system to enhance asset performance.
* Monitor ongoing preventive/predictive/prescriptive/breakdown maintenance and repair work to ensure the facility is maintained and operated to optimum efficiency.
* Supervise and coordinate contractors during preventative maintenance work on refrigeration units, chillers, plumbing, and any other available mechanical systems.
* Review of operation parameters of chillers, chilled water pumps, and heat exchangers on daily basis.
