I am a highly organized and self-driven individual, passionate about developing carrear in the field of Finance and Accounting or Project Cost Controlling /Finance and Cost with 16 years of experience in diversed industries such as auditing, education, trading, manufacturing and construction. With this experience, I have gained extensive insight in the fielfd of accounting, auditing and costing. A passionate about developing my career in the field of Finance & Accounting as a master degree holder. My commitment can be gauged from the fact that I am an accredited holder of a MCom (Master of Commerce) degree with Finance & Accounts as specialization from University of Kerala, India.
My key accounting and financial competencies include, but are not limited to, preparing and maintaining financial records, managing budgets, risk assessments and business strategy reviews and reports. Providing clear and accurate information in response to those needs and to work effectively in a team, be able to manage myself and take the initiative.
In my last working position with Belhasa Group, Dubai, UAE where I worked in the capacity of Chief Accountant and experiences with other companies, I am accountable for leading a team in Finance and staff in other departments and carrying out a wide range of commercial processes related to finance and accounts dept., warehouse and logistics, sales and purchase department. During the course of my career, I have gained a specialist’s understanding of financial instruments and accounting softwares such as Horizon, Tally, Quick Books and Focus and have also been effective in explaining and presenting information in a comprehensible manner.
As a Master Degree holder in Finance & Accounts, I am an accomplished communicator, with excellent organizational, decision making, and time management skills and have a proven track record of consistently meeting and regularly surpassing demanding performance goals.Furthermore, the write-up required me to be competent in my use of computers, particularly in the use of MS Windows packages, including Excel and Word and to develop a PowerPoint presentation of the financials if required.
