Description
I have always had a deep passion for nurturing and supporting children, both at home and in school. This natural inclination led me to pursue a degree in psychology, enabling me to better understand and predict children's behavior, as well as their intellectual development, in order to provide effective teaching.
With over nine years of experience as a teacher, I have focused on all students, with particular attention to those with special needs. I regularly communicated with parents to ensure they were informed about the level of support their children required, fostering a strong relationship between home and school. I was responsible for gathering, recording, and updating important background data on individual children, and I played an integral role in creating and evaluating Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students. I coordinated with support staff and other instructors to ensure that appropriate interventions were in place and held regular meetings to review and update strategies.
My strengths lie in my ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students. I have a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and primary statutory framework, and I maintain high expectations for all aspects of my work. I am enthusiastic, creative, and energetic, with a genuine passion for teaching. As a dedicated team player, I am always willing to go above and beyond to support my colleagues and contribute to a positive learning environment.
I am organized, thorough, and well-versed in child protection policies, health and safety regulations, and confidentiality and data protection procedures. My background in psychology allows me to better understand child development, learning processes, and the barriers to learning that some students face. I believe these skills make me an excellent fit for this role.
Having reviewed the job description, I am confident that my experience and passion align with the vision and mission of your school, and I would be honored to contribute to its goal of becoming the best international school in the world.
I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how I can contribute to your school team or your child. Thank you for considering my application.
Thank you.
Sincerely
