Description
As a Hypermarket Cashier, I am responsible for providing excellent customer service by ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process. My job duties include:
Processing customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments, accurately and efficiently.
Operating POS systems, scanners, and other electronic equipment to handle customer transactions and generate receipts.
Maintaining accurate cash registers and reconciling daily sales.
Handling returns, exchanges, and refunds in a professional and courteous manner.
Assisting customers with inquiries, complaints, and resolving issues as necessary.
Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, including keeping checkout counters stocked with necessary supplies.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including maintaining customer privacy and handling sensitive information securely.
Collaborating with team members to achieve common goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to provide excellent customer service.
