Job Responsibilities

 Conducting Inspections at various Estate Divisions regarding health and safety of the

Workers on behalf of the company.

 Reporting health and safety related hazards and legal requirements to the concerned

Management.

 Ensuring that all workers are wearing the PPE which suits their task.

 Inspecting the sites and providing Permit to Work (PTW) to the workers when required.

 Fire alarm and fire hydrant system supervising.

 Provide a proactive role in the continuous improvement of Company’s HSE

Performance.

 Advise Site In-charge about the implementation of the Health, Safety & Environment

Plan In line with the Company Policy, procedures and standards and the requirements of

the Project.

 Monitor, review, appraise and report corporate HSE performance including the

Functioning of the HSE-MS.

 Assist to develop and maintain HSE Management system documents to ensure

Effective Implementation of ATE HSE Policy and achievement of HSE objectives.

 Provide professional advice to the line management on HSE issues. .

 Conduct and participate in HSE inspections/audits as per the HSE Plan schedule.

 Recommend corrective actions, and monitor that the follow up and close out of audits

are promptly Carried out.

 Managing safety procedures at site (confined spaces, working at height etc.)

 Maintain a database of audit/inspection/default investigation recommendations, and

Tracking their close Out/recurrence.

 Assist in investigation of fatal and high potential incidents/accidents, effective analysis of

learning points and monitor implementation of recommendations.

 Take part in an advisory capacity in all HSE Meetings

 Maintain a database of HSE statistics and training records.

 Conduct daily surveys of construction operations to ensure the compliance with

client/government safety standards and regulations. Identify safety defects and initiate

corrective measures by responsible supervision
