20 years of invaluable work experience in Camp Administration with an exposure of managing a camp of more than 8000+ occupants, workers, managers, Western and Asian) with eminent companies in UAE and Qatar in Oil and Gas EPC, Construction. CAN JOIN IMMEDIATELY.
Manage a gamut of camp and general administration of a large size camp and camp Office of HDEC, occupied by Client and Sub Contractors, own Staff and Managers.
Oversee all aspects of camp and kitchen operations, including the conducting of daily line checks and food and accommodation reviews, as well as scheduling and delegating responsibility to the staff and coordinating their activities in order to ensure that camp and kitchen goals and objectives are met on a daily basis.
Administrative and Operational - Handle daily operations and maintenance. Manage camp and villa accommodation. Disseminate and delegate work scopes. Implement and try out new innovative systems with Senior Management’s approval, so that proper track can always be obtained with minimum loop holes and minimum scope of error. Control room allotments, and checkout procedures. Ensure all incoming and outgoing personnel and items are processed in a timely fashion. Organise and conduct sudden check at rooms. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained across all verticals. Oversee landscaping, sports and recreations, Coordinate with procurement department and vendors for procuring various items.
Kitchen and Catering – Controlling costs for food, beverage and labour within established budgetary guidelines and ensuring units generate quality food and generate system related to food hygiene standard. Planning and developing menus in coordination with Executive Chef and draw up work schedules and rosters. Ensure hygiene and cleanliness is maintained all the time in the kitchen. Monitoring the food and other equipment orders. Provide regular trainings to all the concerned personnel. Conduct repeated planned visits to the hotels to insure smooth operation activities.
Randomly inspecting the stores (F & B / Kitchen) to check the stock in hand (quality, par stock levels, expiry etc.) and proper storage practices with the F & B Manager & Chef.
Mess Dining Hall –To manage the quality and hygiene of the food cycle from preparation through to delivery and consumption. Recruit, manage, induct, train and appraise staff to promote good employee relations and operate within company’s system. Mess hall decoration. Ensuring smooth running of all mess hall following proper administrative rule. Ensure food hygiene inside mess hall. Facilitate food hygiene audits and the compliances.
HSE and Security – Manage and flex all the security personnel inside the camp premises. Ensure all workers and catering personnel are fully aware and conform to the HSE policy. Ensure no work is done unsafely or hazardously and no hazardous material found inside the camp. Report near misses, injury and illness at work on timely basis. Attend daily and weekly HSE walk through with clients and close out the observation finds outs.
Facility, Housekeeping – Facility management of the premises which includes, managing and maintenance of residence villas and porta cabins, camp office, mess hall, generator backup facility, water tanks, sewage tanks, maintenance, gardening, landscaping, parking arrangements. Ensure proper housekeeping laundry, cleaning, pest control practices. Hear Client and Staff grievances and requirements and ensure timely solutions.
Organizational adherence and system - Plan, advice and implement processes and systems. Edit SOP’s and SIP’s. Developing auditing and inspection checklists. Adopt and implement industry best practices. Adherence and active participation in establishing, implementing and executing camp and admin policies and standards. Motivate personnel for performance optimization through effectiveness and efficiency.
Training and HR Functions – Plan requirement and recruitment of department personnel. Interviews, Selection and Staff engagement in conjunction with HR Department. Ensure staff trainings and inductions, performance appraisals of camp staffs and technicians. Tracking of attendances and absenteeism’s, and time sheet approvals, carry out exit interviews. Prepare/approve duty rotas. Handle complaints and escalations and address in timely & efficient manner. Implement and initialize Staff and Labor welfare plans and employee recreations.
Vendor Management – Negotiate, appoint and approve vendor appointments. End to end vendor relationship. Liaise with vendors regarding water, electricity and sewerage.
Monitor the purchase / indent / requisitions of each department, the accounts receivable (collection from debtors) and the accounts payable (payable to the vendors / suppliers etc.).
