Key responsibilities:
Ø Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established Schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
Ø Maintain and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling Transactions, resolving discrepancies
Ø Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
Ø Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and Ledger maintenance
Ø Banking: Responsible for managing of all company bank accounts including company Credit cards: ensuring adequate fund are available to meet expenditure requirement.
Ø Coordinate and resolve issues with bank such as cleared cheque differences, bank Statement, Fee anomalies, targeted balance calculations and issues/ resolving online services.
Ø Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting Disbursement and processing refunds.
Ø Review bank statements, Research, and reconcile all discrepancies
