QUANTITY SURVEYOR (7 Yrs Experience in Qatar)

Job Responsibilities:

 

• • Taking off Quantities, BOQ Preparation & Preliminary Cost Estimates.
  • Prepare IPA including all necessary attachments such as MAR, MIR, INR & Monthly progress reports coordinating with QA/QC & Planning department.
  • Familiar with all aspects of interior fit-outs, joinery, upholstery, painting, etc.
  • Prepare the measurement sheet for the monthly interim payment application (IPA) to submit Consultant.
  • Preparing, negotiating, and agreeing on valuations, measuring subcontract works, and processing payments.
  • Knowledge of material types, site execution, and methods.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with clients.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Accounts and monitor and report actual project costs versus estimated costs skills.

  ·         Managing & Assessing variations & providing accurate costing on additional works.

  ·         Update Monthly Summary of Main Contractor & Sub-Contractor’s Certified payments.

  ·         Prepare progress claims of the main Contractor against work done at site & Milestone.

  • Preparing Bill of Quantities
  • Checking Quantities on site
  • Matching Quantities of site submittals
  • Create Bills of Quantity, Scope of works
  • Prepare reports and maintain files, records, and drawings for projects
  • Study the scope of work, contract documents, and other relevant correspondences.
  • Work in Pre-contract and Post Contract.
