I have 3 years of valuable experience as a Quantity Surveyor, including 1 year in Qatar specializing in building construction civil works, steel works and Facade installations. In this role, I provided comprehensive support to the senior Quantity Surveyor, assisting with essential tasks such as preparing quantity takeoffs, BOQ, cost estimates, and budgets. My responsibilities included managing interim payment applications, handling change orders, and preparing subcontractor bills. I was involved in liaising with subcontractors for quotations, negotiating rates, and preparing agreements, while also coordinating with suppliers to secure quotations and arrange purchase orders. On-site, I was responsible for monitoring project progress, supervising site activities, and ensuring the availability of materials and equipment. I maintained detailed records such as Daily Progress Reports, Material Request Forms, Goods Received Notes, and Log Notes, and conducted site measurements for quantity calculations, joint measurements with consultants, and preparing sub-bills. Additionally, I addressed on-site disputes and participated in site meetings with consultants and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
