JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

HVAC:

• Co-ordinates with construction management team for readiness of the buildings for installation of HVAC equipment’s & ducts.

• Ensure that all mechanical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop

drawings, method statements, specification and work plan

• General supervision and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems at construction sites.

• Installation of Equipment’s Such As Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), Split

Units, Package Units, Exhaust and Supply Fan and Chilled Water Pumps & their Accessories.

• Assists ware-house in checking the completeness of the received materials, identification of any damaged, short received materials etc.

• Co-ordinates with client for MRIR (Materials Requisition & Inspection Report).

• Ensure proper implementation on site& coordinate with other engineering discipline

• Ensure that daily progress reports are produced with regards to HVAC works.

• Attend technical meetings with consultant/client/contractor and weekly progress meetings with the client Witness pre-construction & commissioning activities related to the discipline and ensure full compliance with project requirements

 

FIRE FIGHTING & PLUMBING:

• Execution of Plumbing & Fire fighting items as per standard norms, including automatic fire water sprinkler system, automatic clean agent system (FM200) extinguishing system, fire tank and fire pump system

• Observe buildings or building designs to determine fire protection systems requirements and potential problems in areas such as water supplies, exit locations, and construction materials.

• Execution of hot and cold water supply and water distribution

• Conduct the pressure test for both Plumbing & Fire fighting line

• Execution of Drainage system & vent pipe line, including drainage line for the FCU

 

Inspect and verify safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and Company guidelines.

• Execute the installation of drainage pipes with required slope and supports.

• Following the standards of QCS, IPC, NFPA

 

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work Flow Planning and organizing the teams according to organization schedule plan

• Documentation regarding the progress of the project

• Analyzing the Drawings (IFT, IFC, As Built, Co-ordination, Sectional Views etc)

• Execution of works as per the Approved Shop Drawings

• Raising the WIR–Work Inspection Requests after certain specific task is executed as per Drawing

• MIR–Material Inspection Request for the Material, as to get approval, for the usage in Project.

• Raising RFI – to solve the constraints due to other services

• Highlighting the Approved drawings, so as to track the progress of the project

• To Analyze the cost structure of the Project, where actually am involved in.

• Predicting the local market conditions and availability of Raw-materials m which are highly essential for the smooth run of project, To Control the Sub-Contractors, involved in project

• Scheduling the task to Site Engineers and senior Supervisors

• Minimization of Safety issues, by adapting safety procedures
