FMM/Qatar Airways Hamad International Airport (NDIA) project -Qatar

FMM is the Facility Management division of World class five stars Qatar Airways New Doha International Airport Project (NDIA). Its new Hamad International Airport is the world’s costliest Airport with All Advanced and latest technologies.

Job Responsibility:

• Direct and Lead the Full Team of Technician for Smooth Operations
• Implement the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work Schedule as per the International Standard and local Client requirement with very less interruption to Commercial Operation of the Building.
• To Review, monitor, and update the status of the daily Operation and Maintenance activities related to the Facility management.
• Responsible for Corrective measure to be implemented for any sort of Equipment failure and hence avoiding interruption in future.  
•  briefly explain about the method of Statement and Risk Assessment before starting the work
• Conducting Tool Box talk 
•  Preparing checklist for Man lift, Lanyard and safety harness, Work at Height

Electrical Switchgear

• Experienced with 11kv Low voltage and 6.6kv Emergency Low voltage Switchgears
• Planned and Implemented Shut down Program of LVSS and ELVSS Switchgear
• Conducted and reviewed Insulation Resistance test for Dry Type Transformer, vacuum Circuit Breaker, Air Circuit Breaker, MCCB, Bus Coupler
• Normally All Airport Normal Loads and Critical Loads are connected to Low Voltage Switchgear via Auto Transfer Switch
• Critical Loads are also connected to Emergency Low Voltage Switchgear which is always OFF Condition
• In case of Emergency the Auto Transfer Switch will send the signal to BMS to Switch ON the ELVSS Generator and transfer the critical Loads to ELVSS.

Uninterruptable power Supply

• Experienced with double conversion online ups ratings of 10kva, 15kva(manufacture-chloride)
• Handled 5kva, 6kva UPS by Schneider Electric which Provides Double Conversion Power Protection for server, voice and data networks.

Fire Alarm System (FAS) System:

• Edward’s EST3 full advanced Fire Alarm and Detection System from GE with Smoke, Heat, Beam, Duct detectors.
• Trouble shooting, Testing and commissioning and maintenance of fire alarm system at Hamad International airport (HIA).
• HIA airport has connected 60 panels and each panel has 250 devices
• EST3 interfaced with Elevators, Escalators, PA system, Fire smoke damper, ACS.
• SIGA HRS heat detector sensing 15F to 135F
• The response time of Smoke Detector less than 0.5 sec.Tottaly1,60,00 points over 90km of cabling

Project Overview: Planned and Implemented the RF Survey by using radwin 2000 Modem. Purpose of this survey is checking the interference around BTS for TX (dbm) power in different Unlicensed Frequencies from 5.830 GHz to 5.875 GHz at 30m Height from Ground. So that placing sectors with specified frequency can be determined.

Products Handled: Radwin Wireless Modem (2000 series), Motorola (Canopy).

 

2. Project Name: Wimax BTS Implementation

Project Overview: Planned and Implemented Wimax BTS and Commissioned several sites across Kerala. In this Project my job role is checking the Antenna Tilt, Height, and Degree. Calculated the cable loss and return loss by using vswr meter. IF cable is used between ODU to IDU.

Products Handled: Telsima StarMaxODU and StarMAX6102IDU, MROTEK RICI-4E1L & PINE 8E1/FE/AC/DC, VSWR,Frequencies-3.3Ghz to 3.7 GHz. Aperto ODU and IDU, Motorola (Canopy) ODU and IDU,Frequencies 5.830GHz to 5.875 GHz.

3. Project Name:  Wimax Wireless Data Connectivity

Project Overview: Planned and Implemented the Corporate Intranet Connectivity for VPN and Lease Line Customers via Wireless Data Connectivity. Telsima ODU, Licensed Frequency 3.3GHz to 3.7 GHz used for getting Signal from Nearest Base Stations. Downlink qam64-3/4 and uplink qam64-1/2 Modulation Techniques used. In Aperto & Motorola modems 5.830Ghz to5.875Ghz Unlicensed Frequency used. Downlink qam64-3/4 and uplink qam64-1/2 Modulation Techniques used for Getting Signal.
