I am person with genuine interest in the field of Remote sensing and GIS. I hold a MSc in Geography from Banglore University, The Netherlands and P.G. Diploma in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation with specialization in Geo-informatics. I was working as an GIS Analyst in Design Tech Civil Engineering Consultant, but I found myself more interested in geospatial technology. I did my P.G. Diploma purely out of my interest in Geo-information science and also for fulfilling my desire to study from University of Twente, one among the pioneer university in Remote Sensing. The international standard of education at ITC helped me make myself more proficient in various remote sensing techniques and technologies.
I have basic programming skills in R and Python from various projects that I did during my masters level study.

My MSc research was on studying the Demographic Aspects of Kerala. In this project my task was to study the taluk levels of some demographic aspects like “Population Distribution, Literacy Rate, Sex Ratio and Women Work Participation Ratio of Kerala”. This project gave me an opportunity to understand the different benefits and issues of thsese demographic aspects at top level of the society.

My P.G. Diploma research topic was URBAN SPRAWL MODELLING OF DEHRADUN AREA. In this project my task was to study the Urban Sprawl Modelling of Dehradun Area. The main objective of the study area by analysing the data for the year of 1999 to 2014 using the model of CA-MARKOV. To validate the model by comparing the predicted result and obtained result of the year 2013 and 2014. Predict the year wise growth of Urban Sprawl of Dehradun area for the period of 2015 – 2020.

I have done many projects during my MSc, using machine learning algorithms for effective information extraction from remote sensing images. I have worked on most open-source and proprietary GIS software’s since I started pursuing my first masters. I also have a few journal (both published and under review) and conference publications, the details of which are provided in my resume.
I have looking for a suitable position like this for months, since I graduated. Considering the kind of work that I have done in the past and my academic qualifications and my desire to work further in my domain of interest, I strongly believe that that, I do have the skills and qualifications required for taking up the challenges of the position.
