•Operations and maintenance of transmission plant and machineries.•Installation, supervision, testing and commissioning of transformers, protection devices and switchgears.•Familiar with designing and troubleshooting of protection scheme.•Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.•Knowledge of electrical power systems including generator, transformer, substation, and transmission protection schemes.•Familiar with Power Transformer (GE, BHEL, TELK, Toshiba, Crompton Greaves), Relay (ABB, SEL, Siemens, Alstom) and Gas Insulated Substation (Alstom F35(123kV), Holec(72.5kV))•Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment.•Proficiency in MS Office.•Ability to perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment.•Familiar with substation automation systems and associated software.•Familiar with primary injection kit Dynamic Relay Test kit/DRT/1b (make: Electrical Testing Instruments LTD Canada) and secondary injection kit Megger Programma Sverker 760, Omicron/cmc 356 and Megger MIT 515.•Knowledge in protection setting calculations.•Fire and safety.•Qatar driving license.•NOC available.
