Good day!

I am interested in the position of QA/QC Civil Engineer at your company.

An enthusiastic and proactive individual who has a clear understanding of role and responsibilities associated with being a Civil Engineer. With seven (7) years of experience in the field of engineering and construction which involves challenging and interesting projects within a variety of sectors including Infrastructures and Landscaping works on Residential areas, Resort and Casino, and Structural works on High-Rise and Mid-rise Buildings, I am currently looking for a suitable and full-time position in a company which offers a professional working environment and enables to continually grow while meeting the corporation’s goals.

 Below are my duties from my previous employment:

 

v  Supervising the team in terms of quality on but not limited to; STRUCTURAL (Installation of rebars, formworks, concreting, welding works, steel structures, etc.), CIVIL (infrastructure works, excavation, backfilling, blockworks, plastering, screed works, waterproofing works, sealant works etc.), ARCHITECTURAL (painting, installation of doors, windows, steel and aluminum works, tiling and marble works, gypsum ceiling and cladding works, installation of GRC cladding, installation of curtain walls, etc.) and LANDSCAPING WORKS (Installation of kerbstones, interlocking pavers, granite and limestones cladding, mosaic tiles on pools and water features, planting of trees and shrubs, installation of wheel stoppers, wall and corner guards, installation of light posts, road signages, road markings, etc.).

v  Acting as main point of call for technical advice and queries regarding quality of works on site

v  Reviews approved shop drawings, material approvals and other relevant documents / details to ensure that the works on site are being done as per approved details

v  Conducts site inspection on daily basis and attends scheduled inspection with the consultant/client representatives

v  Checking plans and drawings to ensure accuracy and quality work on site

v  Overseeing health and safety precautions and conducting quality toolbox meeting

v  Submitting inspection requests, material submittals, method statements, test reports and other relevant documents related to quality assurance and quality control

v  Responding to site observations and non-conformances on works being done on site and providing corrective and preventive actions to minimize / prevent unacceptable instances to happen again

v  Witnessing material sampling and testing to ensure that materials used on site are complying to project standards / specifications

v  Coordinating with clients and representatives which includes surveyors, consultants and other contractors to ensure conformance of work standards and completion of pre-requisite works which may delay tasks on hand

v  Attends regular meeting on site with construction team, sub-contractors and consultants / client representative

 

v  Preparing QA/QC weekly and monthly report
