Position Summary

Supervises all housekeeping employees,stores,Laundry and Stewarding and has the authority to plan & assign work assignments, give training for newly recruited employees, unspects perdonal work assignment and requisition supplies.

She will be in charge of overseeing cleaning professionals in lodging facilities, creating their work schedules and ensuring that their cleaning is done in am effective and timely fashion. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises all housekeeping employees, request new employees as needed,coordinate with the Operstions Manager about discharges employees when necessary and take disciplinary actions when policies are not followed. Evaluate employees in order to upgrade them when openings arises.

Plans the work for the housekeeping department and distributes assignments accordingly. Assigns regular and specific duties for housekeeping staff. Maintains a time log book of all employees within the department.

Train new employees: Assigns new employees to work with experienced help. checks on the work of these employees constantly and observes the report made by the supervisors.

Handover to Operations Manager all supplies requisitions.

Ensures SOP implementation in all areas and check them during routine operational checks.

Conduct operations team meeting with all supervisors daily to discuss routine operational matters, feedbacks and action taken for service improvement.

Desired Skills & Experience

Strong Leadership abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to think outside the box and look for operational efficiencies / synergies. Minimum of diploma in hostelry or other related field. Proficiency in MS Office Fluent in both spoken and written English. Minimum of 8 years experience with at least 3 years in similar role. Pre-Opening experience would be a plus Experience in property Management or Facilities Management would be a plus.
