Description

The Civil Foreman will supervise and coordinate all activities on the construction site of villa residential projects. With a strong background in civil construction, the foreman will ensure the effective implementation of the project, adhering to design specifications, safety standards, and timelines. The role requires managing a team of laborers, subcontractors, and other site personnel, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.

Site Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring the work is carried out as per the approved plans, designs, and engineering standards.

Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel on the villa project. Assign tasks based on skills and experience, ensuring productivity and quality of work.

Quality Control: Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations. Ensure the finished work meets the specified design and engineering criteria.

Material Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and usage of construction materials. Ensure that materials are used efficiently and that inventory levels are maintained.

Safety Management: Ensure that the site operates in compliance with all health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety checks, enforce safety protocols, and ensure that all personnel wear appropriate safety gear.

Progress Monitoring: Track daily construction progress and report any delays or issues to the Project Manager. Ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget.

Technical Support: Assist with the resolution of any technical issues or construction challenges that arise during the project. Liaise with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain daily logs of site activities, including labor, materials, work completed, and any incidents. Prepare regular reports for the Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders.

Site Cleanliness: Ensure the site is maintained in a clean, organized manner. Ensure that waste materials are properly disposed of and that the construction site remains safe for workers.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2-3 years in a foreman role on residential villa projects.

• Education: A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
