Specialist Engineer – (Land Acquisition Manager)- Qatar

Our Client, one of the Ministerial Offices in Qatar is looking to hire:

Job Title:         Specialist Engineer – (Land Acquisition Manager)

Reports to:      Advisor Liaison – (Liaison Manager).

Location:         Doha, Qatar

Education:       Bachelor degree in relevant field (preferred)

Job Summary

In order to support this a diverse and specialist team has been established and are working within the client’s office to support the management of land acquisitions for the expressway programme.  This is a critical programme directly related to the Qatar’s Infrastructure programme for hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Responsibilities

• Lead & drive in the review of land acquisitions request and documents in accordance with approved processes

• Work with CAD/GIS Analysts to produce required plans
• Accountable for data analysis, data collections and reporting to key stakeholders

Experience

• Bachelor degree in relevant field (preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience
• Minimum two years’ experience of handling land acquisition processes in Qatar (preferred)
• Competent in Microsoft Office Packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of land acquisition policies and procedures

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and Arabic (essential)
