Our Client, one of the Ministerial Offices in Qatar is looking to hire:

Job Title:         Contracts Expert - (Contracts Manager)

Reports to:      Special Projects Advisor

Location:         Doha, Qatar

Education:       Degree qualified or equivalent, preferably chartered

Job Summary

Working within a team of cost consultants preparing construction cost estimates for infrastructure projects that will include, road, rail and utility projects.

Responsibilities

• Measurement of material quantities from soft and hard copy design data
• Maintain up to date schedules of all produced estimates and record periodic updates
• Produce variance analysis were design updates have changed estimated costs
• Updating Qatar rail cost models
• Managing a team of surveyors and being responsible for agreeing a business plan

Experience

• Pre and Post contract infrastructure experience
• 12 years’ experience required
• Experience in preparation of bills of quantity based on CESMM3
• An appreciation of FIDIC forms of contract is desirable
• Previous Middle East experience is desirable
