Description
- Cathodic Protection (CP) Technician
-
Responsibilities:
- Conduct CIPS & DCVG surveys on pipelines in plant areas and road crossings.
- Carry out potential, voltage, and current measurements at test points.
- Perform T/R unit checks, Tank PSP (Potential Survey Points), and Off-potential surveys.
- Identify current drainage sources and check continuity bonds, cross bonds, and the condition of insulating joints.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during routine surveys.
- roficiency in SACP (Solely Applied Cathodic Protection) and ICCP (Impressed Current Cathodic Protection) surveys.
- Expertise in CIPS and DCVG surveys and their interpretation.
- Proficiency in PSP surveys and interpreting results.
- Ability to carry out tank internals/bottom CP surveys and interpret findings

Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Higher Diploma in Engineering.
- NACE CP Technician Certification (Level II) required.
- 8 years of experience in Cathodic Protection.
- Expertise in SACP and ICCP surveys and interpretations.
- Experience with PSP surveys and their interpretation
- Expertise in performing and interpreting SACP (Solely Applied Cathodic Protection) and ICCP (Impressed Current Cathodic Protection) surveys.
- Proficient in conducting and analyzing CIPS and DCVG surveys.
- Experience with PSP surveys and interpreting results.
- Ability to perform tank internals/bottom CP surveys and interpret finding
