A reputed Trading & Contracting Company in Qatar is urgently looking for a

“Procurement Engineer / Quantity Surveyor” based on the following requirements:

Minimum 3 to 5 years’ of experience of working as Procurement Engineer / Quantity Surveyor

Required Key Skills

Pre & Post tender works/Procurement Works.

¶        Analyzing contract awards/documents --- Verification of quantities, variations, and additional works.

¶        Coordination with other departments to review and verify the drawings/scope of work, design variation, client clarifications and formulate the scope of work/BOQ.

¶        Identify the detailed material requirement, the required subcontractors for relevant activities and obtain competitive prices.

¶        Prepares cost comparison sheets for all supply & Sub-contractor items and procurement of materials.

¶        Prepare Payment Applications, Final Accounts and Variation Accounts in timely manner to ensure successful completion of the projects.

¶        Prepare the sub contract payment certificates as and when required to ensure the project requirements are met in a timely manner.

¶        Coordinate with Client/ Main Contractor and Engineer for approvals of progress billing and variation orders to ensure successful timely billing of all the orders.

¶        Finalize order to the subcontractors after analysis and approval from the management.

¶        Preparation of project status reports, production report, Cost variation reports.

¶        Preparing and submission of tenders.
