Description
• Configuring and maintaining servers, networked computer systems, system software, and applications.
• Perform server administration task (Ex:user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services) research event-log warnings and errors, and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and system issues when they arise.
• Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.
• Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
• Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked computer system.
• Providing technical support when requested.
• Documenting any processes that employees need to follow to successfully work within our computing system.
