In my role, I assist the senior Quantity Surveyor with preparing quantity takeoffs and the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), contribute to cost estimates and budget preparation, and support interim payment application processes. I manage change orders and variations, prepare subcontractor bills, and handle negotiations and agreements with subcontractors, including obtaining quotations and preparing subcontracts. My responsibilities also involve monitoring day-to-day project progress, sourcing quotations from suppliers, and preparing purchase orders. I maintain accurate records and documentation for ongoing projects, including daily progress reports (DPR), material request forms (MRF), goods received notes (GRN), and log notes. Additionally, I have site experience that includes site supervision, arranging materials and equipment, taking site measurements for material quantity calculations, conducting joint measurements with consultants, preparing sub-bills, and managing new variations. I also handle dispute resolution on-site and attend site meetings with consultants and clients.
