Well, not paying attention sometimes costs lives, don't u think? This example is rather harmless, as he was driving pretty slow since he had enough time to pull back and correct his mistake.

He's not the guy who would kill someone, it's others who drive like total maniacs. What about those night street racers? Did they convict any of them?

As I could see, everybody drive very fast here and 80km/h speed limit in the city doesn't help at all. On the other side, 120 km/h limit at highways is also ridiculous, comparing to the city limit which is only slightly lower.

It seems the traffic laws are all pretty much messed up...

Qatar has one of the highest death rates on the roads in the world, so what else do you call people who break the law and drive dangerous except for idiots? In fact the words should be much harsher, these people are murderers.

No a bad day is when this idiot kills someone because of dangerous driving. Really these people should spend a month in jail not a silly 6000 fine

yes all radared signals have movie camera also,if you cross redlite they will revew and fine depends on sitiation,if you drive stright even red lite is ON you must pay 6000 Riyals without any excuse..........

The red light camera takes two images, one when you cross the white line just before entering the intersection and another one when you are in the middle of the intersection.

So one flash, no fine two flashes 6000 down the drain and points(seven?) deducted from your license.

It takes a day or two to get into data base, so ur good imo. drive safe!

This website shows no violation. One week is passed since I crossed Red Signal.

it has happened to me 3 times..as recently as two weeks back..no fines..they review the video footage it seems..no fines i guess if you only cross the white line and nothing else..take it easy you're fine

if you turn back when you see the flash you will get ay be QR,500 but when you see the flash and drive the car you will get penality. but if one week finished case may be you escaped from the radar...don't worry take it easy ok
