pregnancy while on probation
hi need some info and suggestion, i was just recently hired and im on my 1st month, the problem is i havent informed yet my employer that im 4 months preggy and will soon be due on MAY 2011... my probationary period will end on APR 2011. well i know that i will not be able to receive maternity benefits, but my worry is that they might terminate me
yes ill be informing them soon, its just that i happened to know that im pregnant only 2 mos and im already processing my permit.. btw im married
You should have informed them before you got the job.
Now that you are al;ready 4 months, inform them as early as possible.
just tell your boss directly,,
In the old days women were modest and covered up their bumps with loose fitting clothes. Nodays, women want to shout out to the world "Hey look, I've got a bun in the oven"..
Times have changed..
First of all you should not have done such a shameful act while geting employed. Now that you have already done it and continue doing it, you are hiding about it to your great employer. This will not be tolerated by any employer. You should inform about all your movement & position to your employer to have a good result. Think before you do it again!
Or start coughing
Pregnancy and cough,so beter you inform that are on familyway.Good luck
Lol.... .Qhrisy,....Hijacked!:-)
I really want to hijack this thread and ask why women who are pregnant continue to wear their normal clothes, with the buttons bursting and belly hanging out over the top.
But i won't.
Or get Hardees to deliver 2 cheeseburgers every day in front of all your colleagues, so they'll think that is the reason you end up the size of a camel
oopppss sorry for double posting
How did you get through the medical? I mean....you haven't been in Qatar long right?
according to her old post, she said shes under her husband sponsorship..
tell your employers about your condition as soon as you get back to work.. it's not like you can hide it.
her old post says she's under husband sponsorship... hhmmm...
maybe the company got her here on visit or business visa and they haven't converted it to working visa yet, so maybe she hasn't undergone medical exam yet..
LOL,....First the "HR Person is a known friend"now the marrital status is questioned, guys cool it,.....it's already having all the trapping of a popular soap on T.V...
well, hope you are legally married for your sake..
Do they know that you are married?
May be the HR person is known to her or feel providing some good help to her on humanitarian ground..
'Take some opinion from hr?'
They will sack her! She should have disclosed from the very beginning, quite irresponsible not to.
try to take some opinion from the hr person who took your first initials in the company.
you should have informed your employer beforehand..
You may want to tell them soon. You won't be able to keep the secret much longer.
